8-28-08 Errands with Daddy

Rowyn loves to take her moring nap in her Daddy's spot.



We decided that we would run errands with Daddy today which included a stop by his work.


Rowyn loves her new dress that Matt & Michelle Holden got her from their recent trip to Hawaii... Aloha!

Paula and Connie gave Rowyn belly kisses. They explained that it was a tradition in their family, but normally drawn directly on the skin with a sharpie marker...YIKES!

8-28-08 Any suggestions for clipping Fingernails?

Rowyns fingernails have gotten longer and longer... resulting in her scratching her face at night...
I have put this off, again and again out of sheer fear of cutting her little fingers by mistake.
Finally, Chris decided that he would take on the task...

then there was blood...

and then tears, on both Rowyn and my part...



Oh, i just about lost it... I felt so bad for her... little...
Chris quickly realized that it wasnt as easy as he thought it would be...
So we decided to resort to the trust nail file...





Along with a warm bottle... poor little thing...



Any suggestions on clipping baby nails? This incident has only increased my fear of the dreaded clippers...HELP Please...

Rowyn loves bathtime... its time to wind down and get ready for bed. Mommy gets lots of smiles and coo's...


Rowyn is growing so fast that she has almost outgrown her bath tub.

8-25-08 Ride'em Cowgirl!

My dad and step-mom got this horse boucer for Rowyn at my shower.
I finally put it together this past weekend to see if she would be able to sit up in it.


She loves to watch the "Baby Channel"

All the sudden i didnt hear her talkin' and cooin'

When i went to check on her...I found....


... her passed smooth out...


I just couldn't help myself to take pictures before putting her down for a proper nap

8-24-08 Swimming at The Allens

BJ and Janet Allen, good friends of ours invited us over for dinner and swimming.
They just recently had their pool built and are having lots of fun cramming in as much swimming as possible before the weather turns cold.




Dont ask me why i allowed someone near me with a camera...I guess its my payback...lol

Rosco does not like when the kids leave their things floating in "his pool" so he will jump right in... swim out to it, grab it... and bring it back to its proper place...the patio... lol... so funny to watch


Rowyn had enough swimming... so we tried to put her cover up on quickly so she wouldn't be cold...


We were not fast enough...lol

Colby just lost two teeth...
I told him that i thought that those teeth looked about worth $50.00... and that he should close his eyes and WISH, WISH, WISH...
I am still waiting to hear what the Tooth Fairy actually brought him for those two little beauties...
