Nana came and couldnt wait to snuggle...



We attempted giving Rowyn a pacifier today, Chris calls it a "Mute Button" or a "Stop Cry"...lol... and not because she is fussy...because she is not... never has been... doesnt cry at all to be honest...knock on wood...lol... she really is a good baby...

But we started the pacifier to reduce the risk if SIDS, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome... according to the American Academy of Pediatrics.
starting a pacifier after the first month reduces the risk of SIDS.

6-28-08 Kelsie's Dentist Appointment

After the baby shower we had to take Kelsie to her dentist appointment to get her adjustments to her braces...She said in the car that she was going to be very brave for Rowyn... FYI...Kelsie is scared to death of the dentist... but she was super brave and did a great job...

Kelsie had a loose tooth that was literally hanging by a string... she bravely went into the bathroom and pulled it so the dentist could properly adjust her wires and brackets...



All done... her mouth was a little sore, which is to be expected with braces... but she was ready to go eat some yummy cheese fries at Snuffers...

6-28-08 Going to our first Baby Shower!

Today we had planned to go to our friend Erika Hays baby shower... so... of course that meant an entire morning of preparations just to get out the door...

Erika is due to deliver little Piper Lane August 16...

We were going to be picked up by Michelle and Kelsie so i had planned to dress Rowyn in a little dress that Kelsie had given to us at my shower...

however, the outfit size was 0-3month...we are currently still wearing Newborn(NB) clothes... so the outfit was a little to big...


LOL... but still very cute, so of course we had to take pics to share with yall...
We decided that she could probably get away with wearing the dress and bloomers... but the hat was going to have to wait...lol...

Once we arrived at Erika's house... Rowyn was hungry... so BIG SIS, Kelsie, was a super big help taking care of the feedings... i was enjoying the break...
