6-13-08 Heirloom Gift

My Uncle Lee mailed me a very beautiful and thoughtful gift today...

These are pillow cases that my grandmother and my great-grandmother hand embroidered before they passed away...





My Uncle Lee, who lives in Virginia, had them matted and framed for my sister and I to hang in our baby nursery's... he said that one is for me now, for Rowyn's room... and one is for my sister, Sharon, to keep put up, so that when she starts a family, she will have one to hang in her nursery as well...
