6-12-08 Rub a Dub Dub (First Bath)

We started the morning trying to grab some xtra Z-Z-Z's...



We knew that we had company coming to see us later so we knew we had to get a bath and dressed.

First things first... attempt to assemble the bathtub... yes i said... "assemble the bathtub"...lol... these days, everything is " some assembly required"... including bathtubs...

Shea Nutt and Sandra Holden got Rowyn a luxury Spa Bath ... super cool with its own pump and sprayer... so as i said we had to figure out how to put it together...

and can i just tell you, that if you are looking for a great baby shower gift to give to someone... i highly recommend the largest package of batteries that you can find...

good gravy!... everything, and i mean everything(swing, monitor, bouncer, playpen, and now bathtubs)... needs stinkin batteries... seems everytime i turn around i am jotting on the grocery list... AA batteries, AAA batteries, C batteries... ect.



Once we figured out how to assemble everthing... we had to strip the little pork n bean down... and "Just Add Water"



She, as i am sure all babies do... screamed bloody murder at first... mainly because she doesnt like her clothes off because it is cold... but suprisingly when we laid her in the water, she calmed to quiet moans...



Daddy couldnt make it home early to be there for the "First Bath" event... so i video'd it for him... of course i did... right?... because i video and take pictures of everything...right...lol... i know, i know... im obsessed... but oh well... you only get one rodeo with this stuff right? so you might as well make memories out of everthing, that is the way i see it anyways...

We got her out and snuggled up in her towel and she quickly calmed down and was just looking around like... i am not sure what just happened, and i am also not sure if i liked it or hated it...
