7-15-08 Stirred not Shaken

Rowyn has had some problems recently with ...well.. how do i put this... "WIND"...
oh heck, whatever... the girls got GAS...lol... anyways, i had talked to her pediatrician last visit about it and he thought that it was probably reflux and suggested that we give her 2 1/2cc of mylanta/malox after each feed. I did that for a couple of days alternating it with gas drops trying to figure out which medicine was making her feel better... i finally figured out that it was in fact GAS and not REFLUX... so i started giving her gas drops after each feed, and it seemed to soothe her discomfort. Then i remembered that my friend Cassie had used these bottles with this funny little tube in them... they were designed to help with bubbles and gas.
So i picked one up from the local grocery store to try it out...

Let me tell you, these are a god sent... they work so good... kinda pricey but well worth it...

FYI: read the directions... you cant shake these bottles to mix the formula... yeah, learned that the hard way when milk went flying all over the room.





Rowyn has now upgraded to size 1 diapers... cant believe how fast she is growing... after bath time a couple of nights ago... i went to put her PJ's on her and she has grown into a 3month sleeper... can you believe it... she is not 3 months old yet, she shouldnt be wearing those big girl clothes... right? lol
