Another one of Chris' many hobbies includes hunting.
He has a deer lease down near San Angelo, TX(4.5hr drive)
Rowyn and I decided to join "The Crew" this past weekend, as it was opening weekend for Dove Season and there were many in our crew that wanted to go shoot these little birds...
This is Rowyn all ready to go in her Bass Pro Shops onsie
Here she is talkin to her Daddy.
Chris and I got down to the lease a little earlier than the others so we went ahead and got everything and everyone(Rowyn) set up and still had some time to take a break and rest a little.
Once some of the others arrived, the boys were off to fill feeders and ... well, just be boys... so Rowyn and I stayed back at camp... Rowyn quickly fell asleep and i was utterly bored out of my mind. The other wives were not scheduled to arrive until around 8:30pm.
Bored! Bored! Bored!... so i went outside and started taking pictures of random things that i could come back in and upload to my laptop and play with on my new photo software...Thank Goodness i brought that dang laptop!
This is were the land owners son lives...

This is on the side of Weldon and Sheas camper...

Sun was setting...
Sheep!... we dont like the sheep, because they break in to the feeder pens and eat all the corn and protein... HATE THE SHEEP!
Wood pile

Gas tank for grill

I know, I know... totally random... but now at least you know how bored out of my mind i was... lol
Meet Bob... this is Bob the goat... like sheep there are goats and cows that graze this property as well... well this little guys came running, naaahhhhyyyyying the whole way... right up into our camp... like he owned the place, and we were intruding... then he would not leave... seriously... would not leave... he would put his head right up in my lap and sniff rowyns toes...
The goat never left on his own... the guys finally loaded him up in the bed of one of the trucks and took him up to another fenced area where more goats were. He cried the whole way... you could hear him, the sound got fainter and fainter...
funniest thing, guess he wanted to stay and hang out with us... but the guys were worried that he would chew on stuff on the under-bellys of the campers
Waiting on Daddy...
