BBQ at Tony's(Chris' Daddy)

Chris, Charlie and I went to a BBQ at Tony's...

...aren't they cute, they stand just alike... lol...

Chris' Dad makes the best BBQ, so we always jump on any opportunity to join them when he decides to cook.

Anyways... back to this weekend...

This is Teresa, she is Tony's girlfriend and a very good cook as well... she always has some yummy dessert(strawberry pie) or fresh salad(this time she made a salad with apples, celery, walnuts, raisins & mayo...it was really, really good...and i told her that i would be making that at our house this summer for sure, Chris loves her potatoe salad too...


anyways...Teresa is a mother of 3 girls... Diana, Jessica(Jesse), and Katherine(Kathy)...(i will have to get pics of all of them and post them later)

Diana is married to Hayden and they have a little girl named Alexis(Lexi)...


and she is such a little firecracker... so funny to hear all the cute little things that she comes up with to talk about...this time Lexi openend up to me a little bit more and we played with her littlest pet shop animals and gave them all names...
"Patty" the cow...get it..."Patty", like a beef patty...HA! i thought that was so dang funny,...
"Alice" the Lamb,...
"Rotten" & "Karen" were both little dogs that she said proudly that she had received after eagerly turning the crank on the quarter machine at the grocery store... lol...so cute...

After dinner, Lexi and her daddy, Hayden, took a walk down to the lake and back... when she returned she had picked flowers for her mommy, Diana, as well as for everyone else at the table

...so as she began to strategicly pass out the flowers to each person...


i asked her if she would let me take her picture with her prized bouquet... that is when the "camera shy Lexi" kicked in...lol...
as she she stood there, and i snapped away... she absolutly refused to look at the camera... as if to say... "ok, ok!, I know you want to take my picture"..."but, i am not quit ready to strike a pose."... hehe... she cracks me up...



Tony recently bought our entertainment center and components that we had in our game room so chris helped him to make sure it was all hooked up right...



Charlie and I sat on the couch and watched as they struggled to plug in all those tiny wires... arent we such good helpers...lol



In the mean time...Diana, Lexi, and Jesse were in the kitchen preparing the dessert...Strawberry Short Cake... Lexi got to cut the strawberries... with a butter knife...of course...
